We are an independent firm of Auctioneers and Licensed Trade Valuers established in Lincoln since 1864.

We are one of the leading auction houses in the East Midlands, handling sales by auction of antiques, works of art, collectors items and general house contents.
 
Thos. Mawer & Son do not act as dealers on their own behalf, but offer for sale a wide selection of goods largely from local vendors, executors and trustees. 

General Sales are held on the first Saturday of each calendar month when the entire contents of properties are sold ranging from washing machines to grandfather clocks.

Thos. Mawer & Son is privately owned and not part of a group, the firms principals will always be please to deal with enquiries in person.  Specialist sales are held throughout the year as instructions are received.  Thos. Mawer & Son particularly have an international reputation for the specialist sale of the works by G.A.Henty.
